Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Digboi GNM Nursing course 2024

Educational Qualification as per previous year, if any change then we will update here

• 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
•  10+ 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
•  10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks
• 01 (f): relaxable by 5% for SC/ST & PwBD candidate

Age limit: 
Minimum 17 years and Maximum 24 years as on 31.12.2023 (Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/ Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates as per presidential directives). Certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation (Class-X) examination shall be the only acceptable document in support of proof of age.

Relaxation in upper age upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBCNCL candidates considered against reserved positions will be allowed.

Relaxation in upper age upto 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates irrespective of reservation of seats for them. Further, upper age relaxation of 5 years to PwBD candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 3 years to PwBD-OBC(NCL)candidates.

A PwBD candidate availing of only age relaxation (no relaxation in eligibility qualification marks/in written test qualifying marks) shall be considered against unreserved seat in order of merit in the select list before being considered against a reserved seat.

⦁ Selection Process
Selection would be based on Written Test SSUHS GNMEE (OMR based) . Venue and time of the written test shall be mentioned in the Admit card for written test..
⦁ Obtaining minimum qualifying marks in the written test does not confer any right or claim by the candidate for being shortlisted for document verification or the final selection, as the same is based on candidate’s rank in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the Written test, number of seats, candidates meeting the notified eligibility criteria and documents found in order upon verification etc.
⦁ Filling up of seats is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient in number of candidates.
⦁ The decision of the Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection and cancellation of the selection process etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
⦁ Only those candidates who are declared fit in medical examination as per IOCL, Assam Oil Division criteria shall be considered for engagement

Required Documents for IOCL GNM Nursing course

1.10th Pass/Matriculation certificate issued by the concerned education board as proof of date of birth No Other document will be accepted for verification of date of birth.
2.SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/Disability/EWS-Income & Asset Certificate by reserved category candidates in the Prescribed format issued by Competent Authority.

3.Class X & XII mark sheet and certificate issued by the concerned board.
4.Conversion certificate from CGPA/OGPA/Letter Grade to percentage of marks, if applicable, from Concerned board

5.Income Certificate (FY 2023-24) issued by Competent Authority.
6.Candidates seeking reservations under Digboi Legislative Constituency Candidates are required to Produce Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)/ Voter Identity card.
7.Any other Certificate, as specified.

No Admission fee, Tuition/Training fee, Examination fee, clinical fee, university registration fee, Council registration fee, SNA subscription fee, Educational tour, workshop/ conferences conduction fee etc are bear by Indian Oil Corporation. During the course uniforms, books, educational materials, hostel accommodations, medical facilities are provided to the students free of cost. On other hand a handsome amount of monthly stipend is paid to the students from first year till completion of the course
