Assam Minorities Development Board Courses 2025 – Apply Online for BPT, GNM, DMLT & Coaching, The Assam Minorities Development Board (AMDB) has released an official notification regarding educational support programs for students belonging to minority communities of Assam (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis). These initiatives are aimed at uplifting students from economically weaker sections by providing assistance for higher education and professional training.
Available Courses under AMDB 2025
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.)
- Eligibility: 10+2 (Science) with minimum PCB 45% marks for General (UR) and 40% for Reserved categories.
- Duration: 4½ years
- Age Limit: 17–24 years (Reserved candidates get 3 years relaxation).
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
- Eligibility: Same as above
- Duration: 2 years
- Age Limit: 17–24 years (Reserved candidates get 3 years relaxation).
- General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
- Eligibility: 10+2 any stream with minimum 40% marks.
- Duration: 3 years
- Age Limit: 17–30 years.
- Coaching for UPSC/APSC Entrance Exam
- Eligibility: Graduation (any stream)
- Duration: 1 year
- Age Limit: 21–32 years.
- Distribution of Fashion Design Machine
- Eligibility: Minimum 5th pass
- Age Limit: 18–50 years.
Important Information
- For BPT, DMLT, and GNM courses, 90% of expenses will be covered by AMDB and 10% by students.
- Admission for BPT, DMLT, and GNM will be based on the SSUHS Common Entrance Exam (CEE) 2025.
- Coaching for UPSC/APSC will be conducted at selected training centers.
- Fashion Design & Textile courses are reserved for women candidates from minority communities.
