Eligibility Criteria for BSc Nursing
Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions before applying.
Nationality
The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Residency
For admission into Government nursing institutes of Assam, candidates must have a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must pass 10+2 Science (HS).
- Subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026
- Maximum age: 35 years
Male candidates are not eligible for admission in Government Nursing Institutes of Assam, but they may apply for private institutes.
