Supporting Documents for Minority Community Certificate
i) ID proof (Aadhaar Card) – Mandatory.
ii) Address Proof (Mandatory)- Any of the following:
- Aadhaar card
- Voter Card
- Passport
- Driving License
- Bank Passbook with Photo
- (Note: Address proof of parents will be valid)

- Printing charge (in case of any printing from PFC/CSC) – Rs. 10 per page

Eligibility criteria for Minority Community Certificate
- Applicant should be a citizen of India
- She/he should be a permanent resident of Assam
- She/he should belong to minority community as defined under clause (c) of Section 2 of the National Commission of Minority Act,1992. For the purposes of the said Act, the Central Government has notified Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains vide Ministry of Welfare Notification No. S.O. 816 (E), dated 23.10.1993, F.No.1/1193-MC(D) dated 23.10.1993 and Ministry of Minority Affairs Notification No. S.O.267 (E), dated 27.01.2014
How to Apply for Minority Community Certificate?
Eligible and Interested Minority Community applicant may apply online visiting of official website of Right to Public Services i,e rtps.assam.gov.in or you may follow these step
- Scroll down and go to “Important link for Minority Community Certificate”
- Click on “Apply Online”
- If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to Register
- After Registration need to “login”
- After the applicant has logged on to the system click on Apply Online
- Fill up the application form and upload supporting documents
- On final submission of the form, applicant has to pay the requisite amount.
