Educational Qualification: Candidates should have to pass HSSLC (Science) with Biology as one of the subjects and also have to complete the one year Certificate course in elementary Knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized school of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar
Age: 21 Years to 40 years
Age Relaxation SC/ST- 5 Years
OBC/MOBC 3 Years
Selection Procedure : The Interview and the Selection Criteria for the post of Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) and its allied cadre posts shall be as per provision of Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules, 2002.
The Shortlisted candidates will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Age Proof Certificate, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational QualificationCertificates, VFA Training completion Certificate from the School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Assam, Ghungoor, Silchar and Declaration in Form-“A” under Rule 5(I) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 as available in the website of the A.H. & Veterinary Department for verification on the date and time to be notified later on.
