Polytechnic Admission Test ( 2025– Assam Polytechnic PAT Admission 2023 Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam has released a notice regarding admission into Diploma courses in the State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (Against seat allotted by the Govt. of India) for the session 2025-26, Online Application are invited from the candidates who are permanent resident of Assam (except Central Govt. Employees quota)

Eligibility criteria for PAT 2025
Candidates must pass the H.S.L.C or equivalent examination in single sitting with mathematics and science as compulsory subjects. candidates also must have passed individually in both theory and practical examination in Mathematics and Science

PAT Required minimum Average % In Mathematics’ and Science
General/OBC/MOBC: 40%
Schedule Caste (SC): 35%
Schedule Tribe (ST): 33%

Age limit for Assam Polytechnic Admission 2025
Candidates’ age must be minimum 16 years as on 31st December 2025. There is no upper age limit.

Polytechnic Admission Test Centres
Admission Test will be held Govt. Polytechnic/ Institutions of Assam under Directorate of Technical Education Assam and selected centres at Mangaldai and Tezpur

Application Fee for PAT 2025
For Polytechnic Admission Test-2025 and counseling for Admission an application fee of Rs.300/- (Plus bank charges as applicable) is to be paid using State Bank Collect which facilitates payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking. Payment may also be made in cash at any Branch State Bank of India after generating the cash Deposit form from State bank Collect in Final step of online Application.

How to Apply for Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT)-2025
Candidates are to apply online by opening the www.dte.assam.gov.in and click on “Online Application for PAT-2025” The Online Application portal will be open w.e.f 19th May 2025 to 7th June 2025, No other mode of application will be accepted

DTE Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2025
Candidates will not be permitted to take admission without permanent Resident Certificate (PRC/ Caste Certificate for OBC (Non Creamy Layer certificate after clearing Polytechnic Admission Test-2025
