Eligibility criteria for Pre Examination Training Course
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
Educational Qualification: The candidates must hold a degree in any discipline from a Recognised University.
Age limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st of June 2022

Selection process for Pre Examination Training Course
Candidates will selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the Selection Test. The Selection Test will consist of General Studies (Multiple Choice Question) and will be held on 24th October 2021 Sunday from 11: 00 am to 1:00 pm)

Selection Test details:
* Test will consist of General Studies (MCQ)
* Date of Selection Test: 24th – October -2021 (Sunday)
* Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
* Total Marks: 200
* Total questions: 100
* There will be no negative marking

90 Percent questions in the Selection Test will be from General Studies (Paper I) and 10 percent from CSAT (Paper II) of the UPSC Preliminary Examination syllabus

Any change in the date(s) and or venue of the selection Test will be duly notified in the website of AASC viz www.aasc.assam.gov.in
Date of declaration of results of Selection Test: The result will be displayed on AASC office Board and the AASC website www.aasc.assam.gov.in

Eligibility for the Selection Test: General category candidates securing at least 60% and Reserved Category candidates securing 55% marks in the degree examination shall be eligible for the test

Fees on selection of the course: The section candidates shall have to give Rs.50,00/- (Rupee Five Thousand) only as one time fees for the entire course in the form of demand Draft, in favour of Director of Training, Assam Administrative Staff College Society, payable at SBI, IIBM Branch, Jayanagar, Guwahti-22

The selected candidates shall have to give Library Deposit fees of Rs.20,00/- (Rupee two thousand) only which is refundable

Coaching programme will be non -residential and hostel accommodation will be provided to the candidate

Eligible & Intersted candidate can also be downloaded form the official website of this Institute (www.aasc.assam.gov.in) shall have to submit self attested copies of all relevant documents along with two passport sized photograph on the day of submission of application (as hard copy only) at AASC, Original Certificates will have to be produced by the candidates at the time of their admission to the coaching programme
