GMCH Guwahati Recruitment 2021 – Gauhati Meical College & Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati released a notification regarding recruitment of 9 Data Entry Operator, MTS, Scientist, Research Assistant, Laboratory Technician post on temporary and contractual basis under Setting up of State Level Viral Research & Diagnostics Laboratory (VRDL)

1) Name of Post: Scientist c (Medical)
Total no of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
(i) Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in Microbiology with one years R&D/ Teaching Experience and Post Graduate Diploma in Microbiology with two years R&D/ Teaching experience in the required subject from recognized University.
or
(ii) MBBS Degree recognized by MCI or equivalent Degree from recognized University with 4 years R&D/ Teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS Degree.
or
(iii)BDS/B.V. Sc.& AH Degree recognized by DCI/VCI with 5 years R&D/B.V.Sc. Degree.
Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month.

2) Name of Post: Scientist C (Non medical)
Total no Posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
(i) B. Tech Degree Biotechnology with 6 (six) years R&D/ Teaching experience in the relevant subject after B. Tech Degree.
or
(ii) First class Master’s Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/ Teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class Master Degree.
or
(iii) Second class M. SC. + Ph.D. Degree Biotechnology with 6 (six) years R&D/ Teaching experience in the relevant subject after M. SC. + Ph.D.
Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month.

3. Name of Post: Scientist B (Non medical)
Total no of Posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
(i) BE/B. Tech Degree in Biotechnology with 2 years experience or equivalent Degree from recognized University.
or
(ii) 1st class Master’s Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology from a recognized University.
or
(iii) 2nd class M. SC. +Ph.D. Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology from a recognized University.
Age Limit: 35  years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA per month.

4. Name of Post: Research Assistant
Total no of Posts: 2
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject.
Desirable Educational Qualification:
(i) Research experience in Microbiology/ Virology
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
Age Limit: 35  years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month.

5. Name of Post: Laboratory Technician
Total no of Posts: 2
Educational Qualification: B.Sc./ Intermediate with Diploma in medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 5 years Lab Experience.
Desirable Educational Qualification:
(i) Minimum 3 years experience in Microbiology preferably in Virology and Molecular Biology.
(ii) Hands on experience of doing ELISA.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer Application
Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month.

6. Name of Post: Multi-Tasking Staff
Total no of Posts: 1
Educational Qualification: High School/ Matric/ equivalent from a recognized Board.
Desirable Educational Qualification:
(i) Minimum 1 years experience in Laboratory work in recognized Institute/ Health care setting.
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Application
Age Limit: 30 years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs.18,000/- per month consolidated

7. Name of Post: Data Entry Operator
Total no of Posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized Institute with expertise in MS Office and Data Entry related work.

Desirable Education Qualification:
(i) Minimum 1 years experience in relevant field in reputed Office
(ii) Preference will be given to BCA/ B.Sc. (IT) or equivalent from recognized University/ institution.
(iii) Typing speed 40 characters per minute.
(iv) Basic knowledge of software, Hardware and able to attend trouble shooting of Computers, Printers and Network connectivity.
(v) Ability to compile health related report.
Age Limit: 30 years as on 01.04.2021
Pay Scale: Rs.20,000/- per month consolidated
