Eligibility Criteria for NHM Assam Community Health Officer Recruitment

• Candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with Integrated Certificate course Community Health
• B.Sc Nursing & Post Basic Nursing passed from a Nursing Institution/ University recognized by Indian Nursing council/ and Assam Nurse midwives & Health Visitor council
• Candidate shall submit a certificate from the principal of their respective Nursing College (where from candidate has passed) for Confirmation of the Nitrated Certificate Course in Community Health as per given format ( please refer Appendix I)

Age limit for National Health Mission Assam CHO Recruitment

Age limit: Less than 35 years of age, which is relaxed by 5 years for the SC and ST Candidates as on 1st June 2023

National Health Mission (NHM), Assam Invites both offline and online application for 699 numbers posts of community Health Officers (CHOs) for passed out B.Sc Nursing & Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with the Integrated Certificate course in Community Health. The CHO candre is a part of an initiative under the Ayushman Bharat to strength Sub-Centres as Health Wellness Centres (H &WCs) for extending comprehensive package of services under primary health care at sub centres by promotion

Candidates thus selected shall be posted at Sub Centres Health & Wellness Centre as CHOs to a primary health care team consisting of frontline workers such as Female Health Workers (ANMs), male worker (MPWs) and ASHA working under the Sub Centre

All application will be subjected to a screening process and candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of mark obtained in their final year examination of last qualifying course i, e Merit wise in their last qualifying examination (Final Year B.Sc Nursing course/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course)
