1.Name of post: Postal Assistant

Pay Scale: Rs.25,500/- to Rs.81,000
Division/Unit wise vacancy:
(i) Agartala: 2

(iv) Meghalaya: 3
(v) Circle Office: 1
Educational Qualification:
(i) Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) The candidates will be required to furnished Basic computer Training Certificate from a recognized computer training Institute before issuance of appointment letter.
Age limit:18 years to 27 years as on 01.01.2021 (for age relaxation check notification).

2.Name of post: Postman
Total no. of Post: 4
Pay Scale: Rs.21,700/- to Rs.69,100/-
Division/Unit wise vacancy:
(i) Dharmanagar: 1

Educational Qualification:
12th standard pass from a recognized Board, knowledge of local language. The candidates should have studied the local language applicable for the posts of the concerned states as mentioned below at least up to the 10th standard:
(i) Dharmanagar Division: Bengali
(ii) Manipur Division: Manipuri
(iii) Meghalaya Division: English/Hindi
(iv) The Candidate will be required to furnished Basic Computer Training Certificate from a recognized computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.
(v) The person appointed to the post of postman shall acquire a driving license to drive a two-wheeler or three-wheeler or light motor vehicle within a period of two years from the date of his appointment.
