Eligibility Criteria for Polytechnic Admission

i) The Candidates must be of Minimum 17 years and Maximum 24 years old as on 1.1.2022
ii) Academic Eligibility: 10+2 (Science) with at least 50% marks in PCM or PCB, passed in single sitting or 3 years diploma in any branch of Engineering passed under recognized Technical Education Board/ Council

Physical Standard for Male
i) Height : 165 cm
ii) Weight: 50 kg
iii) Chest: Normal- 80 cm, Expanded -85 cm
Physical Standard for Female
i) Height : 148 cm
ii) Weight: 43 kg
iii) Chest: Chest expansion of 5 cm after full inspiration

Admission test: Candidates having physical standard as mentioned in point No 3 has to appear in an aptitude test for selection to the Fire & Safety Course
Admission Fee: Demand Draft of Rs.1000.00 in Favour of Principal, Bongaigaon Polytechnic, Payable at SBI, Bongaigaon

Application are invited in plain paper Application format available at notification, Application fill up should reach the office of the Principal, Bongaigaon Polytechnic, Bongaigaon, PIN-783380 within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement in newspaper

iii) Mark sheets
iv) Admit Card or certificates as age proof
v) Two copies of recent passport size photograph
vi) Caste Certificate if applicable
vii) Parent’s income Certificate issued from competent authority, if applicable
