Eligibility Criteria for SSUHS B.Sc Medical Technology course

Educational Qualification: Higer Secondary 10+2) pass in Science stream or equivalent Examination from recognized Board/University/Council with English as one of the subject and securing at least 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the same sitting without grace marks for General category candidates and 40% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the same sitting without grace for the candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ ST(H)/ OBC/MOBC category

Master in Physiotherapy (MPT): Minimum qualification is Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) with a minimum of 50% marks in case of General candidates and 40% for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H) from a recognized University

• Age limit: 17 years to 30 years as on 31st December of 2021
• Upper age relaxation 3 years for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates
• Candidates must be Permanent Resident of Assam and must furnish a certificate to this effect

Selection procedure for B.Sc Medical courses

Selection of candidates for the courses and the college will be made category wise as per merit (% in PCB) by the process to be held later and will be notified SSUHS official website, Merit shall be prepared based on the total marks obtained by each candidate in the subject, i,e Physics, Chemistry and Biology in HSSLC or equivalent

Depending on the number of applicants there may be an entrance Test on short notice or merit list will be prepared as per HSSLC Marks (PCB). The allotment of course shall be on the basis of merit and will be done during counseling

Upto 3 marks may be given to the candidates representing country/ State/ University and winning prizes in sports, Cultural and Literary spheres and holders of NCC “C” Certificate

Attested copies of the following documents are to be enclosed along with the Application form

• Passport size photograph pasted on the form in the space provided
• Admit Card of H.S.L.C Examination (Age proof)
• Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate of H.S.S.L.C or equivalent examination
• Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate of BPT course (wherever applicable)
• Caste Certificate ( wherever applicable)
• Permanent Resident Certificate of Assam
• Certificate in support of quota applied for  (wherever applicable)
