Eligibility criteria for BSc Medical Technology & Paramedical Admission

Educational qualification:
The minimum qualification for selection of the candidates is H.S.S. L.C (Science) (10+2)  or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 45% marks in case of General Candidates and 40% for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.

Age limit: Candidate must be a minimum of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

⦁ Applicant must be a citizen of India.
⦁ Be a Permanent Resident of Assam and must furnish a Certificate to this effect for admission into Govt. Institutes. The provision of Permanent Resident Certificate shall not be applicable to the Sons/Daughters of the employees of the Govt. of Assam.

1.For B.Sc Medical Technology/ Degree in Paramedical Sciences

• General category – Rs.1500/-
• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC etc. Rs.1200/-
• Divyang 40% and above – Nil

2.Diploma in Paramedical Sciences

• General Category – Rs.700/-
• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC etc. Rs.550/-
• Divyang 40% and above – Nil

3.Both Degree and Diploma Paramedical sciences combined

• General Category – Rs.2000/-
• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC etc. Rs.1600/-
• Divyang 40% and above – Nil

A non-refundable examination fee is required to be paid through the Payment gateway available on online application page and University website [Application Fee for PEE-2024 (Non — Refundable)]. Above Examination fee is exempted to PwD (Divyang) category of candidates having disability of 40% and above

Question Type: MCQs
No of question paper: There shall be 1 paper
Question will be of HS (10+2) Sciences standard
Exam Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Exam Duration: 3 hrs

⦁ The minimum qualifying criteria/cut off score in the Entrance Examination of B.Sc. Medical
Technology and Diploma In Paramedical Courses will be as follows:
a. General (UR/EWS) – 50th Percentile
b. SC/ST/OBC – 40th Percentile
c. UR — PWD — 45th Percentile
⦁ If seats remain vacant, the minimum percentile will be reassessed by Director of Medical Education, Assam before second counselling.
⦁ 50% of seats in B.Sc. Medical Technology and Diploma In Paramedical Courses are to
be kept reserved under Management Quota for Private Institution provided the candidate secures the minimum cut off score.
