Tezpur University Recruitment 2021 – Tezpur University released a notification regarding recruitment of 16 Non-Teaching Vacancy Internal Audit Officer (Administration) (On deputation), Deputy Librarian (Central Library), Information Scientist (Central Library), Assistant Registration (Administration), Upper Division Clerk (Administration), Lower Division Clerk, Junior Accountant (Administration) and Technical Assistant (Physics)

1.Name of post: Internal Audit Officer (Administration) (On depuation)
No of posts: 1 (UR)
Educational Qualification: Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or with five years regular service

2.Name of post: Deputy Librarian (Central Library)
No of post: 01

Educational qualification:
i) A Master’s degree in Library Science /Information Science /Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever grading system is followed
ii) Eight year’s experience as an Assistant University Librarian /College Librarian.
iii) Evidence of innovative library services including integration of ICT in Library
iv) A Ph. D. degree in Library Science / Information Science/Documentation Science /Archives and manuscript keeping /computerization of library.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years

3.Name of post:  Information Scientist (Central Library)
No of post:  01

Educational qualification:
A) i) Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc) with at least 55% marks or ann equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever grading system is followed.
ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) or M. Sc. in Computer Science /Information Technology.
OR
B) i) M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering / Electronic & Communication Engineering with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point- scale, whenever grading system is followed.
ii) Minimum 02 years experience in Library Automation, Library Networking and Application of Web Technologies in Library.
OR
C) i) Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point- scale, wherever grading system is followed with two years of relevant experience.
ii) Minimum 02 year’s experience in Library Automation, Library Networking and Application of Web Technologies in Library.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years

4.Name of post:  Assistant Registrar (Administration)
No of post: 02
Educational qualification: A Master’s Degree in any subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC Seven Point Scale.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years

5.Name of post: Upper Division Clerk (Administration)
No of post: 04

Educational qualification
Essential:  A Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years

6.Name of post: Lower Division Clerk (Administration)
No of post: 04

Educational qualification
i) 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
ii) A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English on manual typewrite
OR
A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on Computer. [ 35w.p.m. And 30w.p.m. Correspond to 10500 and 9000key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) respectively on an average of 5key depression for each word]

7.Name of post: Junior Accountant (Administration)
No of post: 02

Educational qualification:
 Essential: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from any recognized University.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years

Name of post: Technical Assistant (Physics)
No of post: 01

8.Educational qualification:
Essential:
i) B. Sc. with major in Physics from a recognized University.
ii) Two years experience in similar job in a college /university laboratory or equivalent organisation.
Desirable: Candidates with Experience in handling sophisticated analytical equipments related to the Departmental Laboratory /Workshop may be preferred.
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years
