Objectives of SC Scholarship
- To appreciably increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio of SC Students in higher education with an emphasis on those from the poorest households
- To provide financial assistance at Post-Matriculation or Post-Secondary stage enable SC Students to complete their education
Eligibility criteria for SC Scholarships
- The Scholarships are open to Indian Nationals only
- Students must belong to Scheduled Caste and studying at Post-Matric level
Income ceiling
Annual Parent/Guardian’s Income Scholarships will be granted to the students whose parental/ guardian’s Income from all sources done not exceed Rs.2.5 lakhs per annum

- The students should be studying full-time in classes I-X
- Children/ward of parents/guardians who belong to categories like, Tanner & Flayers, Waste picker, person engaged in hazardous cleaning and person who are Manual Scavengers
