The industrial visit was carried out at GRASIM BHIWANI TEXTILE LTD. (GBTL) on 26th to 4th april 2018 . The industry was located at Bhiwani, Haryana and it was about 3 km from TIT college campus . We along with 31 friends and two in-charge

This is achieved by rotating a number of blades, connected to a hub and shaft, and driven by motor or turbine

DUCT

They used DUCT for humidification  are conduits or passages used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning to deliver and remove air.

 

LIGHTING

THEY USED TUBE LIGHTS IN THE WHOLE DEPARTMENT

  DRAW-IN        = 8

LABOUR ALLOTMENT IN GBTL (weaving dpt.) per shift

—In Re-winding department = 1 supervisor with 2 worker for 2 machinery

—In warping department= 1 operator with 2 creel boy to make 1 warp beam, the capacity of  warp beam is max 5

—In Draw-in department= 2 worker draw 1000X8=8000 ends in one shift

—In weaving department= 10 looms operating by one operator with the help of one helper, there is 136 loom is consist and one Knoter & one gaiter.

Process parameter

There is some essential parameters is required to make a fabric

For ex:-

At first It depend on how much length of fabric is to be produced. The required process parameters are as follows

(i)Length of warp           (V)PPI

(ii)Count of warp            (VI)Design

(iii) Count of weft           (vii)GSM

(iv) EPI

In a weaving department the preparatory and loom shed works side by side. The preparatory department converts the yarn supply package to warp beam and the  loom shed  converts it into fabric . A continuous working of both is  therefore depends upon one another..

MAINTENANCE IN GBTL

Generally maintenance is looking after separately for both Mechanical and Electrical. They both follow the —(i) Preventive maintenance  (ii) Break down maintenance

In a preventive maintenance To keep the machine full and good running condition preventive maintenance is followed. A strict maintenance schedule is followed as per the recommendation of the machine manufactures preventive maintenance is include—

(i)  Cleaning

(ii) Greasing & oiling

(iii) Checking all parts & clearance and settings

(iv) Alignment of machines

REPORT

The GRASIM BHIWANI TEXTILE LTD. Mill is a composite one with an annual turn over of rupees__________________

And a target production of 8000 meters Polyester/Viscose blended fabric. They produce a wide variety of fabric ( dress material as well as furnishing ) for the consumers of local market and abroad.

—DADUL : WORKERS ARE TO BE CROSS TRAINED AND THEIR JOBS ARE TO BE MORE FLEXIBLE

—LOKBIKASH: TRAINING OF WORK FORCE COULD HELP IN AVOIDING ANY FAULT THAT MAY OCCURE DURING DRAWING IN  AND WEAVING

—KABYASHRI: LOOM BEAT-UP, POSITION OF FELL OF CLOTH, SETTING FROM  I-BOARD OF LOOM AND TENSION SETTINGS COULD BE IMPROVE TO AVOID STARTING MARKS DEFFECT

—GIASUDDIN BHUYAN: To improve lighting in Industry
