Eligibility:
a. Be a citizen of India
b. Be permanent Resident of Assam and must furnish a Certificate to this effect.
c. The provision of permanent Resident Ceretificate shall not be applicable to the sons/ Daughter of the employee of the Govt. of Assam.
d. The minimum Qualification for selection of the candidates is HSSLC (sc.) (10+2) or equivalent with physic, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 45% marks in case
General candidates and OBC/MOBC/SC, ST(P) and ST (H) Candidates 40%
e. Age: Students have to be in the age limit of 17-24 years on 31st Dec of 2018, Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC/ SC ST (P) ST (H) Candidates

Selection of candidate for the course and the Institute will be made as per merit (% in PCB) by the process of counseling to be held latter no on which will be notified through newspaper and official website ww.dme.assam.gov.in
